Submittals are due by 5:00pm on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

“Qualified partnership teams must have significant experience and demonstrated ability to develop successful and high quality literacy, educational, cultural and/or entrepreneurial programs. Qualified teams will have experience collaborating with various organizations and managing educational programs and services. The selected partner(s) will be responsible for programming and operations at the Hunt Library building,” the RFP states.

The City has secured $2.5 million in funding to assist in the renovation of the interior library building but but the money cannot be spent until there is a plan in place and needs one in place by June 2020 if the City doesn’t want to see that grant money forfeited.

The City will host two informational sessions for potential partners. The sessions will include the chance to ask City staff about the RFP process and the Hunt Library building. A tour will also be included for potential partners to assess the Hunt Library building for program usage.
