CSU Fullerton Patrons of the Library Talk
Community members are invited to the following event at Cal State Fullerton. There is no cost and parking is free on campus on Saturdays: The PATRONS OF THE LIBRARY presents its second speaker of 2018-19 AY on Saturday, February 9, at 2:00 pm in the Pollak Library: A Lecture by: Los Angeles Times reporter, Benjamin Oreskes, whose series on the homeless in Los Angeles has attracted critical attention and praise. Oreskes is the co-author of the Essential California newsletter and a general assignment reporter in the California section. Before coming to The Times in February 2017, Oreskes covered foreign policy at Politico in Washington, D.C. He graduated from Northwestern University, and looks forward to seeing the Wildcats play in the Rose Bowl sometime soon. He will discuss his series on the homeless in Los Angeles and his research. The meeting and the lecture are free and open to the public. Parking is also free. A shuttle will be provided for those who need assistance from the parking lot to the Pollak Library. The shuttle service will begin at1 :25 and will resume after the lecture.
