OC Water Update Including Desal


Local water watchdog journalist John Earl will provide the current status of the Orange County Water District’s environmentally destructive private water venture with Poseidon, water quality issues, and the politics that impact the cost of water for Orange County residents.

Earl has been investigating and reporting on local water districts and the $1 billion proposed ocean desalination plant for 14 years. Before that he was a founding member and first president of Residents for Responsible Desal.

The event is open to the public and will be held Sunday, January 5th, 2pm to 3pm at thge Green Party of Orange County meeting at the Irvine Ranch Water District Community Meeting Room at 15500 Sand Canyon Road in Irvine (about halfway between the 5 and 405 freeways.)
