Conversion of the 12-acre site at Euclid and Roscrans has begun with the removal of many of the old trees to make room for 169 units of The Pines apartment complex at Sunrise Village. While most activity is behind chain link barriers covered with green shade nets obscuring most of the activity, a single high vantage point from the neighboring complex allowed an interesting view of the service access road from Rosecrans. There, a huge excavator and a coworker with a chainsaw provided a choreographed ballet while clearing some of the trees.
