A demonstration occurred on April 28 at Harbor and Santa Fe corner in downtown Fullerton to raise awareness and demand that the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza stop. Egyptian podcaster Rahma Zein made a guest appearance. She went viral after a confrontation at the Egyptian border with a CNN reporter who was blasted for biased reporting.
As over 34,000 Palestinians in Gaza (2/3rds women and children) have been killed by Israeli forces, and all but two of 24 hospitals destroyed, universities and schools, infrastructure and homes destroyed – the current Israeli government is still blocking humanitarian aid.
The US government’s response is to send $9 billion more in military assistance to the Israeli government.
The international Court found “plausible genocide” but took no further action.
Students on campuses across the US and the world are joining others in protesting Israel’s actions and demanding divestment from any businesses furthering the genocide. Many of these protests are led or joined by Jewish Voice for Peace and other Jewish organizations – despite false allegations that the protests are anti-Semitic and against Jews.

CSUF students hold pro-Palestinian protest

Students at Cal State Fullerton held a pro-Palestinian demonstration on Monday following a wave of university protests opposing the Israel-Hamas war.
The protest follows a ceasefire resolution approved by Associated Students last week that urges university administrators to publicly support an end to the conflict and implement safeguards for students who have spoken in support of Palestine. The university has not responded to the resolution.
“We write to share our concern over the recent tensions at many colleges and universities across the country,” campus officials wrote in an email sent hours before the protest. “At the same time, we acknowledge the passionate response from many in our community who have organized to voice their perspectives.”
The demonstration was organized by the school’s Students for Justice in Palestine chapter and was held in the central quad, amassing a crowd of more than a hundred that remained peaceful. Police and counter-protesters did not interfere with the event.
Student organizers began the rally by orchestrating chants with the use of megaphones, drums and crowd participation. Several of the slogans invoked President Joe Biden and the United States’ involvement in the latest Israel-Hamas war.
The on-campus protest was just a day after a multi-organization event was held Sunday at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Santa Fe. Participants took time to voice support for justice and peace in the Middle East.

I wish I had known. I would’ve gladly added my voice in solidarity. Biden can’t chastise Bibi while simultaneously sending money and arms.
He can and does. Hypocrisy is the calling card of politicians.
What a biased fact less bullshit article.
“Antisemites have a Hate Parade in Fullerton” would be more appropriate headline.
Not one word about hostages. Maybe Egypt or Jordan will take the Palestinians. NOPE.
Red herring. Murder is murder.

I was inspired to share this by recent FALSE claims of anti-semetic actions and chants by protestors of the genocide in Gaza. Also should be noted, as the article points out, that many of the protests are led by Jewish Voice for Peace and joined in by people of all faiths including Jews who don’t agree with Netanyahu Regime in Israel or Biden/US Congress decisions regarding the killing of civilians and destroying of homes, hospitals, schools plus preventing humanitarian aid – even water – while still bombing. It is horrific.
