Fullerton Police Officers were dispatched to N. Harbor Blvd. and W. Whiting Ave. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 2:41 am regarding a traffic collision involving a vehicle that crashed into a building. 

Upon arrival, Officers located a black Honda Civic on the southwest sidewalk. The vehicle’s driver and sole occupant were in the driver’s seat. The Fullerton Fire Department responded, extricated the female, and began life-saving measures before transporting her to a local trauma hospital. At the time of the collision, the female adult driver was listed in critical condition. 

A preliminary investigation indicates that the Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Harbor Blvd. when, for unknown reasons, it veered onto the sidewalk and collided with a nearby building. 

Three days later, the female driver succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision. 

At this time, it is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the cause of the collision.
