The 2024-2025 school year is underway, and the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program (NOCROP) is preparing to welcome a larger number of students on the first day of school at Fullerton Joint Union High School District. The program offers various Career Technical Education (CTE) courses at Sonora, La Habra, Sunny Hills, La Vista/La Sierra, Buena Park, and Fullerton Union High Schools. What sets CTE courses apart is the focus on equipping students with practical skills and real-world experiences that are highly valued in the current job market.
CTE opens a world of opportunities for students to explore their interests, discover their passions, and gain hands-on experience in high-demand fields. From healthcare and film/video to auto-technology and graphic design, CTE programs offer a wide range of possibilities, igniting excitement and motivation in students as they build a strong foundation for their future careers.
The success of these programs is a testament to the support and collaboration of NOCROP partner schools and districts. The partnership with Fullerton Joint Union High School District is a crucial part of the community, enabling NOCROP to provide valuable learning opportunities to students.
As the new school year begins, NOCROP teachers and staff are filled with anticipation for the achievements students will accomplish. By focusing on equipping and empowering tomorrow’s professionals through career technical education and fostering a sense of hope and optimism for the future NOCROP aims to see students acheive success and personal acheivement.
