Linda (Mucha) Schultz 1959-2024
Linda (Mucha) Schultz, surrounded by her loved ones, passed away at St. Jude in Fullerton, California, on August 30, 2024. Despite bravely battling an illness for over a decade, her passing was unexpected, leaving her family and friends heartbroken.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 13, 1959, Linda moved to California at 22, where she laid down roots and raised her family in Fullerton for 42 years. She worked as a skilled paralegal until her retirement. Linda cherished her neighborhood, especially during Halloween, when she would joyfully decorate her home and share the festivities with friends and family.
Linda married Randy, the love of her life, in 2008. Together, they shared a beautiful life. In retirement, they embarked on adventures, traveling cross-country in their Airstream. Linda remained close to her grown children, Mara and Justin, and they celebrated most of the holidays together.
She welcomed her first grandchild in 2016, and her role as a grandmother became her greatest joy. She devoted her time, love, and attention to her grandchildren, making holidays and birthdays special and leaving an indelible mark on their lives. She is survived by her husband Randy, her children Mara and Justin, her stepson Derek, her sister Laura, and her adored grandchildren Henry, Emma, Quinn, and Sloan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Zigmund, and her brother, Marky.
Linda was a wonderful friend, creating deep bonds in California and Michigan. She hosted countless holidays, bringing family and friends together. Her warm and generous spirit touched many, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her.
Linda’s legacy is one of love and strength —a woman who created a family from blood and friendship and whose memory will be cherished forever.
