There’s a story behind this witch hat. After attending a Halloween dance, I came home and took my witch costume off and relaxed a bit. The next morning I was going to go somwhere and couldn’t find my keys (car and house).
I looked everywhere and this went on for two days. I was afraid I had left them in the door and someone had taken them, so I had trouble sleeping at night fearing they might break in. I even called my daughter who is in New York right now and she was going to send me her set in an overnight delivery.
Making one last sweep of the house on the third day without my keys, I picked up the witch hat which I had put away and heard a rattling inside. Reaching in, I felt my keys! They had fallen in the hat when both were on the table when I had first come home from the dance.
Who would have thought of looking in the tip of the witch hat when I was searching for the keys? Maybe the witch was playing a mischievious trick on me!
