Nouveau Chamber Ballet presents The Nutcracker Ballet

Every October, Tom Bozigian and Sheree King dive into rehearsals for their upcoming production of The Nutcracker. This marks their third year presenting The Nutcracker since they took over the Nouveau Chamber Ballet and the Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio following the passing of their mentor and friend, Lois Ellyn, in 2021.

Tom is developing new choreography for the Russian dance and collaborating with the company dancers, while Sheree has created several new pieces to enhance the original choreography of Lois Ellyn, who was a professional dancer with the New York City Ballet. Each year, they strive to expand the production by adding new costumes, sets, and dancers, aiming to create an abridged version of The Nutcracker suitable for children of all ages.

This year, professional dancers Eduard Sargsyan and Natalie Palmgren will take on the roles of the Cavalier and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Eduard previously danced with the Armenian State Ballet Company, while Natalie has performed with the Hollywood Ballet and the Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre.

Performances will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 21 and 22, at 2 PM at the Fullerton College Campus Theatre, located at 321 Chapman Ave, Fullerton, CA. Reserved seating prices range from $25 to $35.

Tickets are available at nouveauchamberballet.com.
