What’s sad is the lack of coverage of the comments of the rest of the audience during the city council session of December 17th. As reported, the only voice that seems to matter is Bushala’s and his critical opinion of Zahra, but nothing of the people who supported Zahra or other critics of the other members of the council.
Thank you for pointing this out. I did transcribe many of the statements in the article published shortly after the council meeting (https://fullertonobserver.com/2024/12/24/city-council-meeting-december-17-2024-saying-goodbye-to-councilmember-bruce-whitaker-declaration-of-elected-council-and-appointing-mayor-and-mayor-pro-tem/). I should have written that 10 people spoke to advocate that Dr Ahmad Zahra be voted in as mayor.
