
The Fullerton Bears Cheerleaders were recently recognized for their outstanding achievement at the city council meeting on March 4, receiving city and state certificates for winning the JAMZ 1st Place National Cheer Championship in Las Vegas. The prestigious event featured over 600 competing teams, making the Bears’ victory a remarkable accomplishment.
Cheer Coach Rosie Worth took the opportunity to express her gratitude during the ceremony, acknowledging the invaluable support of the Parks & Recreation Department, State Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva and her team, as well as the dedication of the Bears board members, cheer staff, and the parents who played a pivotal role in the team’s success.
The ceremony showcased numerous cheerleaders including Avangeline Arevalo, Ariana Cisneros, Amelia Cisneros, Aubrey Gwin, Camila Ramirez, Amelia Rodriguez, Isley Schaefer, Paislee Williams, Evelyn Aguirre, Madelyn Bereczki, Jordyn Broom, Sydney Cordova, Avah Cruz, Greenlee Goodfield, Emmalyn Grimaldo, Rose Olabarria, Sophia Quijas, Lilah Russell, Ruby Solares, and Valerie Venegas.
Staff members Mandy Jung, RoseAnna Word, Monique Enriquez, Nalleli Rojo-Arevalo, Cynthia Nunez Martinez, Mackenzy Jung, London Channel, Lani Haina, Noelia Rojo, Jasmine Diaz, Isabelle Ceballos, and Valeria Estrada.
The Fullerton City Council was also in attendance to honor the team, celebrating the hard work and spirit that led to this significant win for the Bears.
