Tara’s Chance to Celebrate Milestone Acquisition with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on May 3rd

Tara’s Chance, an organization dedicated to providing equine therapy for children and families, will mark a significant milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 3rd, from 2:45 to 4 pm. The event will take place at the newly acquired ranch property located at 219 E Claire Ave, Fullerton, CA.

The purchase of the ranch not only secures a permanent home for Tara’s Chance but also enables the organization to continue its transformative programs, which have seen substantial growth since its inception in 2012. Originally founded to support riders like Isabella Davis, who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and could initially ride only for 30 seconds, Tara’s Chance now serves nearly 90 children each week.

The acquisition is seen as a critical step in addressing the increasing demand for services, with a waitlist of nearly 100 children. The organization intends to expand its capacity to more than 100 riders weekly, thus broadening its impact in the community.

The ceremony will feature community leaders, staff, volunteers, and families, all coming together to celebrate this significant achievement. Among the attendees will be Nick Dunlap and various representatives from the City. Tara’s Chance emphasizes its commitment to hope and healing through equine therapy, marking this event as a pivotal moment in its mission to support families in Fullerton. Coverage by the Observer is requested to share this notable accomplishment with the broader community.
