
A Fullerton driver caused a collision with an ambulance on June 2, 2025, at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Lemon Avenue. The ambulance was responding to an emergency while traveling northbound on Lemon with its lights and sirens activated. Witnesses estimate the ambulance was traveling at a speed of no more than 40 mph at the time of the crash.
According to reports, the offending vehicle was headed westbound on Chapman when it made a slow right turn onto northbound Lemon, driving directly into the path of the ambulance.
The driver of the offending vehicle, described as a white woman in her 60s, appeared uninjured and exited her vehicle promptly after the incident. However, her vehicle was likely totaled due to the impact, while the ambulance crew was diverted from their original call to tend to the scene of the collision.
