News from the Fullerton Public Library June 2025

New Fullerton Public Library hours due to Elevator Enhancement

Beginning Monday, June 2nd the library will be operating under adjusted hours while the building’s elevators are under construction. We anticipate the noise levels due to the construction to be very disruptive and have adjusted our hours to the following: Sunday – Monday: Closed | Tuesday – Thursday: 2:30pm-7pm | Friday: 2:30pm-5pm | Saturday: 11am-5pm
One elevator replacement down, one to go. The Fullerton Public Library will be completing work on the second of two elevators undergoing replacement at the Main Library in June and July. For your safety, the Main Library will be operating under adjusted hours while the building is under construction.

From June 2 to July 31, the Main Library will be open from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays, and from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The Hunt Library will be open regular hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on every third Saturday.

Friends of the Library continue to enthusiastically accept donations in the Library Conference Center before the Main Library opens and at the nearby Friends’ Book Store when the Main Library opens.

The Book Store hours will be Tuesday – Thursday 2:30 to 7 PM, Friday 2:30 – 5 PM, and Saturday 11 AM to 3:30 PM.

Funding for this project was provided by the California State Library, the Fullerton Public Library Foundation, and the Friends of the Fullerton Public Library.
