Domenic Joseph Ferrante, a cherished longtime resident of Fullerton and a devoted member of the community, passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 92.
A parishioner of St. Juliana’s Catholic Church since 1965, Domenic’s faith played a pivotal role in his life. Known for his enthusiasm for golf and horse racing, he often enjoyed watching his thoroughbreds train at local farms and compete at the tracks.
Domenic’s commitment to service was reflected in his extensive volunteer work with various organizations, including St. Vincent De Paul, the Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy, Mary’s Kitchen, and Harvest Food Bank.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, with whom he celebrated 69 years of marriage, along with his children Deborah DiCrasto and Nicholas Ferrante, daughter-in-law Sue Ferrante, and son-in-law Ron Wennerberg. Domenic also leaves behind two grandchildren, Cara Ottaway (married to Edward) and Frankie DiCrasto (married to Kayla), as well as two great-grandsons, Luca DiCrasto and Wyatt Ottaway.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Rose and Nicola Ferrante, and his daughter, Ann Ferrante Wennerberg.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Juliana’s Catholic Church on Friday, June 13, at 10 am, followed by burial at Holy Sepulcher in Orange on June 16 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
