UPDATE: Missing At-Risk Elderly Woman Found Unharmed

UPDATE: Carole Kremkow, 87, missing since June 28, was found at 9am Wednesday July 2. Fullerton Police responded to a call from a resident who said the elderly woman had been seen in a residential  neighborhood in the vicinity of State College and E. Rosalia Dr.  It appeared she had fallen, became disoriented, and found a hidden location to rest.  Police Information Officer Kelly Wells, who was on the scene, said although Mrs. Kremkow was found alert and talking she was taken to the  hospital for a checkup. The family and community is relieved.

The Fullerton Police Department is appealing to the community for assistance in locating an at-risk elderly woman, Carole Kremkow, who has been reported missing. The 87-year-old was last seen on the morning of Saturday, June 28, 2025, shortly before 9:00 AM. Security footage captured her walking southbound on State College Boulevard from East Rosalia Drive.

Carole suffers from Stage 4 Alzheimer’s disease and may be walking with a limp due to a recent foot injury. Compounding the urgency of the situation, she does not have a cell phone and lacks access to cash or credit cards.

Authorities have provided a detailed description of Carole:

  • Name: Carole Kremkow
  • Age: 87 Years Old
  • Height: 5′4
  • Weight: 125 Pounds
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Green
  • Clothing: Navy and green long-sleeve shirt, dark navy pants, and light blue New
  • Balance tennis shoes

The Fullerton Police Department urges anyone who has seen Carole or has information about her whereabouts to contact the department immediately at (714) 738-6700. If you believe Carole is in immediate danger, please call 9-1-1.

  1. Why do we not have a pattern of what her day usually includes?? Where are her kids? We’ve not heard from them. Very strange. Let the public know what this women usually did during her days.

    Ed Response: This is report from the police department. It would seem knowing her routine might help find her.

    • She is an alzheimer’s patient, stage four. her son has lived with her and taken care of her since before the disease started. he called the police and has followed up with them every day and is out with his daughter, His sister, his niece his brother-in-law and his partner searching the city for her every day. He has created a group along with this partner that is going on a search party on wednesday. the whole family is distraught, very worried and doing everything they can do in their own power every day to try and find her and bring her home.
