Thank you to all who participated. I wasn’t there but agree we can’t allow residents be disappeared off our streets by unidentified masked criminals who have no warrants or reason. Totally against our independence and freedom and rule of law.
It is sad to see people involved in protests against ICE in the city in which I have lived for over 50 years. ILLEGAL immigrants aren’t the same as immigrants who come to the USA the lawful way. I can’t figure out why our court system is burdened with “due process” for people who haven’t followed any process to be here legally.
You refuse to understand. You don’t want to understand.
People are people. There are no illegal people. There are zero people that do not deserve due process in America. Once you get that through your skull you can start to understand how so many of us don’t like treating normal hard working people as lower than criminals.
It is unacceptable.

The current administration said they would be targeting criminals but apparently they couldn’t find many so are now targeting hardworking immigrants and Asylum seekers – many arrested at their annual check in appointments and who are going through the citizen process – which can take 12 years
Now even full citizens are being accosted on the streets or at their work places, arrested and detained and deported.
Even here in Fullerton a citizen was put in handcuffs and detained by six ICE agents while shopping with his family.
Happily in his case someone called OC Rapid Response which works with the ACLU and he was released. He was carrying his driver’s license and US passport and has no criminal record.
Pat – you can’t be OK with that – can you?
And what about the Dreamers – college aged kids brought here by their parents and those born in the US who are also now targets?
I am happy to see people standing up for all of our rights – also fits right in with Independence Day. Let’s not lose our freedom.
John, no such thing as murderers either? People are people after all.
The term “illegal immigrant” does not indicate that the person’s existence is illegal—we are merely pointing out that they violated the law to get here.
Illegal acts not illegal people. People like our president convicted of illegal acts are called criminals not illegals.
But we are mass deporting people that are not criminals. Some are. The vast majority are not.
Illegal aliens may or may not have violated the law. Some overstay a visa. First time border crossing is a misdemeanor. I don’t consider either of those things deserve the name criminal.
Follow the law
Pointless. Our federal agents will continue to do their job regardless of how many of you cry and pout as you walk down the street with a little sign.
MJR – “our federal agents” are breaking the law by detaining and arresting and even deporting permanent residents, green card holders, residents going through the many-year process of becoming citizens and even full US citizens – 72% who have zero criminal history according to the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse which tracks all ICE arrests.
ICE is targeting working people at their place of work – many who have lived here for years – like the father of three Marine Corps sons who was arrested at his gardening job (he owns the company).
A Fullerton retiree born in the US was accosted, arrested and detained even though he showed his drivers license and passport. A young woman who had been brought to the US by her parents at age 5 – was arrested and detained while coming back from her honeymoon. Her husband is a full citizen. And there are many many more examples.
ICE agents are not showing warrants and are stopping and arresting and detaining and deporting anyone they feel like.
They show no badge numbers, are masked in plain clothes and could be any crazy terrorist group. And they don’t tell families where they are taking their family members.
This is not the arrest of dangerous criminals it was said to be. I can’t believe you are OK with it.
It’s about the World Elite trying to make America pay thru New Green deal/ Health care for all the world /the white sins and allowing all Countries to Illegally enter USA for the last 4 years.although it started many years ago when Public Union schools needed students All Federal State County City and Union Workers get all the benefits if your not in a Union your screwed Since California Requires Health Care they charge high Insurance for the non Special people above Aka Union workers so I pay high health care so Illegal people get it free I am charged $2000 a month for health care on a anual income non Union pay of 65k do the math after deducted health care my 65k becomes 39K and if I cancel my health care I still get penalized I did cancel and now I pay the fine and I am not covered so spare me the cost of being a non Union Government worker or Illegal entry person who gets Hud /food stamps Free health care free education I get it Rob me so Schools can have students in California and Goverment Unions vote the rules that all seems ILLEGAL TO ME TAKE FROM MY WALLET TO GIVE TO JULIO OR OMAR OR ANY OTHER NON CITIZEN 86 % of Hud benefits go to non citizens
ED RESPONSE: Scott, the information you are presenting is in error – for instance with few exceptions, non-citizens are not eligible for HUD. There are 11 million non-citizens in our country of 343 million people. The majority of those 11 million work and pay into our system so are really not the problem.

The “world elite”? What a pile of nonsense.
Climate change isn’t about “sin” it is about scientific reality and consequences of industrial civilization. We repeated the benefits and the wealth, it makes sense we would pay a big part of mitigation.
But of course that has nothing to do with immigration other than climate failures will certainly create more refugees.
