Fatal Traffic Collision Involving Pedestrian in Fullerton

A fatal traffic collision occurred on Monday, July 21, 2025, at approximately 9:15 PM in the 400 block of W. Orangethorpe Avenue. Fullerton Police responded to reports of a vehicle-pedestrian accident.

On arrival, officers found an adult male pedestrian suffering from serious injuries near a white Infiniti G35. Emergency responders from the Fullerton Fire Department attempted life-saving measures, but the pedestrian was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The driver of the Infiniti remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver was traveling westbound on W. Orangethorpe Avenue when the vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was crossing mid-block and outside of a marked crosswalk.

At this time, investigators believe that alcohol or drugs were not factors in the collision. The identity of the deceased pedestrian will be released by the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
