Officers from the Fullerton Police Department responded to a report of a male adult who had been shot near the intersection of Cameo Lane and Madison Avenue on July 18, 2025, at approximately 7:57 PM. Following the report, officers launched a search and quickly located the victim at a nearby fire station on S. Bradford Avenue and W. Chapman Avenue.
Authorities have classified the incident as an attempted homicide, believing it to be gang-related. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released. During the course of the initial investigation, detectives made an unrelated arrest of an adult male on weapons law violations.
In a significant development, Fullerton Police Detectives executed search warrants on August 13, 2025, at four residences identified as known criminal gang locations within Fullerton. This operation resulted in the arrest of two juveniles, who now face charges of attempted homicide and conspiracy in connection with the shooting in July. They have been processed and transported to the Orange County Juvenile Hall.
Additionally, a third arrest was made of an adult male on probation violation charges during the operation.
