It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Harrison

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Harrison, a beloved member of the Fullerton community, who left us on November 6, 2025. Todd was more than just a resident; he was the son of Harry Harrison, the science fiction writer, he was a passionate advocate, a devoted friend, and a tireless champion for those in need.

Known for his unwavering commitment to social justice, Todd made his voice heard at every city council meeting, where he spoke out on behalf of the most vulnerable among us. He was dedicated to advocating for the senior residents of Rancho La Paz, passionately fighting against the unfair treatment of low-income seniors facing rent increases of 45-60%.

In his personal life, Todd was a loving husband to Yolanda Harrison, whose support and partnership were evident. He served as the chair of the City of Fullerton’s Senior Advisory Committee, where he worked diligently to ensure that the voices of seniors were heard and their needs addressed.

Todd’s dedication to his community and his compassionate spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of advocacy and love for his fellow residents will continue to inspire us all.

In honor of Todd’s life, let us remember to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves and to cherish the relationships we build in our communities.

  1. I know for a fact that Yolanda Harrison, a now widowed immigrant, is swamped with everything she must do in order to stay afloat. She is terrified about her green card, ICE, and so many other things that are taken for granted. “Todd gave me what no one else could – his love.”

  2. It is hard to believe he’s gone. He was a beautiful and kind person who stood up for everyone who needed a voice. We will miss Todd.
