The Woman’s Club of Fullerton (WCOF) transformed Coyote Hills Golf Course into a hub of style, song, and solidarity on November 1 for its 9th annual Holiday Brunch & Fashion Show, raising more than $5,000 for Recovery Road, a vital community resource center providing compassion, support, and nourishment for individuals on their journey to wellness.
More than 100 Guests reveled in a morning of inspiration, starting with a festive brunch featuring member-crafted desserts, alongside nearly 50 silent auction baskets. The runway came alive with fashions from DRESSIN, Fullerton’s first concept store known for its inclusive, trend-forward designs and locally inspired style. Eight diverse models showcased 24 looks—from effortless daytime chic to glamorous evening elegance—escorted by two distinguished USAF servicemen, with sparkling accents from Park Lane Jewelry consultant Gail Douglas.
“Fullerton is the perfect home for our first store—it’s a creative, community-minded city,” said Alex Cheybani, DRESSIN Store Director. “We love supporting local causes like this.” “Fashion can do good,” added Lupe Hernandez, DRESSIN Operations Manager. “Partnering with WCOF and Recovery Road lets us give back while celebrating style and community.”
The event kicked off patriotically with the Sunny Hills Vocal Ensemble singing our National Anthem, joined by the WCOF Ensemble singing “God Bless America,” followed by Broadway-quality performances by student singers from John Raitt Awards for Youth (JRAY), who brought the house down with standing ovations. JRAY celebrates excellence in high school musical theater across Southern California, offering awards, scholarships, and opportunities for aspiring performers.
Between fashion sets, attendees mingled, shopped for exclusive clothing and jewelry pop-ups, competed fiercely for treasures, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere, with one thrilled guest walking away with a top-tier 14” HP Laptop worth $1,599 as the door-prize winner.
“Everyone raved about the food, fashions, and atmosphere,” said Bev Campbell, Event Co-Chair. “Our members pour their hearts into this event every year,” added Gail Douglas, Co-Chair. “We can’t wait to celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2026!”
