Celebrate the Holiday Season with Nouveau Chamber Ballet’s 32nd Annual Production of “The Nutcracker”

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with Fullerton’s own ballet company, Nouveau Chamber Ballet, as they present their 32nd annual production of “The Nutcracker.” Performances will take place on Saturday, December 20, at 2:00 pm and Sunday, December 21, at 2:00 pm at the Fullerton College Campus Theatre, located at 321 E. Chapman Avenue, Fullerton.

Every fall, Artistic Directors Tom Bozigian and Sheree King bring this cherished holiday tradition to life. Now in their fourth season leading the company following the passing of their mentor and founder, Lois Ellyn, Bozigian and King continue to honor her artistic legacy while adding new creative energy to each year’s performance.

This season features new choreography for the Russian dance by Tom Bozigian and an expanded “Waltz of the Flowers” that revisits Lois Ellyn’s original 1991 choreography. New costumes and sets further bring Clara’s journey through the Land of Sweets to life in a 90-minute abridged production, perfect for audiences of all ages.

This year’s featured guest artists include Eduard Sargsyan as the Cavalier and Samantha Bell as the Sugar Plum Fairy. Sargsyan previously danced with the Armenian State Ballet Company, while Bell has performed with both State Street Ballet and Oakland Ballet. Together with Nouveau Chamber Ballet’s talented company dancers and students of the Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio, they promise a performance filled with holiday enchantment and artistry.

Following each performance, children are invited onstage for a complimentary meet-and-greet with the cast, including beloved characters like Clara, the Nutcracker, and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
