The photo was taken at Ocean Subaru of Fullerton, with a Fullerton Fire Department engine proudly displayed in the background—an inspiring example of community partnership in action.
On a beautiful December 6, 2025 morning, the Woman’s Club of Fullerton (WCOF) proudly delivered $2,436.71 in gifts for local teenagers as part of the annual Spark of Love program, sponsored by the Fullerton Fire Department.
The thoughtfully chosen donations included earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, STEM building models, hair dryers, crossbody bags, and much-requested journals—items designed to meet teens where they are and bring both joy and encouragement during the holiday season.
The delivery was a celebration in itself. The Fullerton Fire Department arrived in full spirit with an engine, a battalion chief, and several firefighters, underscoring the strong community partnership behind Spark of Love. Leading the effort was Kristi Hofstetter Batiste, Emergency Manager for the Fullerton Fire Department and coordinator of Spark of Love, who was on site to welcome the donations and thank participants for their generosity.
Also present was Omar Fonseca, General Manager of Ocean Subaru, a longtime supporter of community giving, along with approximately 15 members of the Woman’s Club of Fullerton, including the club’s president, vice president, and co-chairs of the Grant Committee.
Moments like these reflect the heart of the holiday season—neighbors working together to ensure local youth feel seen, valued, and supported. The Woman’s Club of Fullerton is honored to contribute to Spark of Love and grateful to the Fullerton Fire Department and community partners for making such a meaningful impact possible.
