In an effort to mitigate flooding caused by rain runoff, the City of Fullerton is providing residents with free sandbags while supplies last. The sandbags are available for pick-up at 1600 W. Commonwealth Avenue and can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Residents are advised that there is a limit of 15 sandbags per household, and they will need to fill the bags themselves. This initiative aims to help community members prepare for potential heavy rains and reduce the risk of flooding.
