Pedestrian Dies Following Hit-and-Run in Fullerton

The Fullerton Police Department has confirmed that a pedestrian who was critically injured in a hit-and-run traffic collision on December 20 has died. The male victim was pronounced dead on Christmas morning, December 25, 2025.

On the night of the incident, which occurred around 10:23 pm at the intersection of S. Gilbert St. and Carol Dr., police responded to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The victim was rushed to a local trauma center in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities report that the driver involved in the incident fled the scene without stopping to assist the injured pedestrian. The suspect vehicle has been described as a white, four-door sedan, likely to have sustained noticeable front-end damage.

The investigation into the hit-and-run is ongoing, and the Fullerton Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying both the vehicle and the driver responsible for this tragic collision.
