The City of Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department held the Lions Field Grand Reopening on January 31. The event marked the completion of significant improvements, including a full turf replacement, the installation of a GeoCool system, updated field striping, and various enhancements to increase safety and playability. Local organizations such as Fullerton Hills Girls Softball and Pop Warner Football and Cheer participated in the event, alongside community residents and families. Attendees toured the upgraded field and connected with athletes and fellow community members. The reopening signals a renewed focus on youth sports and recreational activities in Fullerton.

I would rather put that money into roads and waterline repairs.
Huge money spent on sports and other entertainment enjoyed by a tiny percentage of residents should be on the back burner not up front taking tax dollars from away the items that everyone in town needs.
