The Arboretum and Botanical Garden at California State University, Fullerton, is preparing to host VeggiePalooza, a vibrant three-day celebration dedicated to sustainability and community engagement. Scheduled for April 10-12, this annual event brings together gardeners, families, and plant enthusiasts in a festive atmosphere.
VeggiePalooza is more than just a gathering; it serves as a platform for local growers to showcase a diverse array of vegetables and herbs. This year’s event will spotlight the increasing interest in urban agriculture, climate-conscious living, and community-driven environmental initiatives in Orange County.
“We are excited to welcome the community to VeggiePalooza,” said an event organizer. “Our goal is to promote sustainability while supporting local non-profits and engaging families in the joys of gardening.”
Throughout the weekend, attendees will have opportunities for hands-on learning, with workshops and demonstrations focused on sustainable gardening practices. The event will also feature interviews with organizers and prominent speakers in the field, along with ample opportunities for photo and video coverage.
