Hmm. Does Aruni Thakur still not live in the 4th District?
Aruni Thaker lives in Amerige Heights and hosted a fundraiser for Shana Charles. Last I checked Amerige Heights is in D1.
He always lived there but pretended to live in D4 to run against Bruce Whitaker in 2020. That’s fraud, BTW.
Karen & Zenger- and others who don’t know – School District zones have different boundaries than council districts. Aaruni Thakur is totally honest and has been a good school district trustee. He would make a great councilmember too but I heard he is sticking with his trustee position.
Actually, untrue. He pretended to live in the 4th District to run against Bruce Whitaker in 2020 when everybody knew he lived in the 1st District in a big house across from Molly McClanahan Park. The one with the gorilla. Which meant he was pretending to live in a different school district than the one he was elected to serve. You’re confusing ambition with honesty. So sad.
He is now sticking in his position because the Dems are anointing somebody else.
