Across the United States, over 3,300 organized protests took place on March 28, 2026, as part of the “No Kings Day of Nonviolent Action,” marking one of the largest coordinated demonstrations in American history. Estimates indicate that nearly 9 million individuals participated in protests opposing the policies of the second Trump administration.

Key issues at the heart of the protests included the ongoing Iran war, perceived democratic backsliding, the suppression of the Epstein files, and controversial operations by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which have led to violent confrontations, including the recent killings of individuals like Renée Good, Keith Porter, and Alex Pretti.

Activist organizations reported that approximately two-thirds of the planned demonstrations were held outside urban areas, highlighting a widespread sentiment of discontent that extends beyond major cities. There were more than 40 events scheduled across Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties.  Notable turnouts were observed in Orange County cities such as Anaheim, La Habra, Huntington Beach, and Santa Ana.

Here are some photos and videos from the La Habra and Anaheim protests.

  1. We planned to join the protest in Anaheim but couldn’t find parking closer than two miles away even early in the day. So happy so many came out. Thanks for the report!

  2. Can’t wait to see how this help Democrats in the mid-term as we need to protest more often. I can go each weekend! It’s super healthy to be out there with friends and demonstrating our anger at all the things! I would have liked to see more teachers unions and SEIU union members supporting this. Now is our chance.
