The Fullerton School District (FSD) proudly celebrated diversity and cultural appreciation at Park’s Jr. High’s 3rd Annual Korean Culture Night. This event featured an evening of festivities and cultural exchange for all FSD students and families.
Korean Culture Night was a vibrant showcase of special performances by the students of Laguna Road Elementary School’s Korean Dual Language Academy Kindergarten and First Grade classes. Their infectious enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to embracing Korean culture through song and dance was a source of pride for the entire FSD community.
Additionally, Park’s Jr High School’s Korean Culture Club students, Fisler School’s Korean language class students, and Beechwood School students took the stage to share their passion for Korean traditions, adding an extra layer of excitement and authenticity to the event. In addition to the student performances, the event featured snacks, raffle prizes, traditional Korean dance, gayageum, a tea ceremony, and Sunny Hills High School’s Korean Club Band. Fisler School student and FSD Dream Catcher Farrah Kim (aka DJ Farstar) will showcase a Korean music DJ set.
“At the Fullerton School District, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment where every student and family feels valued and celebrated. Korean Culture Night exemplifies our dedication to embracing diversity and promoting cultural understanding within our community. We appreciate all FSD students and families who joined us for an unforgettable evening of cultural exchange and celebration,” shared Dr. Erlinda Soltero-Ruiz, Interim Chief Academic Officer of Educational Services.
