Fullerton Water Division delivers a dependable water supply to our 140,541 residents and 5,549 businesses. Roughly 80% of Fullerton’s water comes from right beneath our feet using wells to pull water from the Orange County groundwater basin managed by Orange County Water District (OCWD). The other 20% is imported water from the Colorado River and the State Water Project bought from the Metropolitan Water District. Our skilled staff ensure that the water we serve meets or exceeds all federal and state water quality standards. We preform over 4,000 tests each year to monitor the quality and ensure the safety of the drinking water. In addition to Fullerton’s samples, OCWD’s lab test for more than 500 compounds! We are proud to provide our customers with reliable, affordable, and exceptional quality drinking water.

Each year, Fullerton Water Division electronically publishes its annual water quality report, otherwise known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) that details how well we safeguard your drinking water. If you prefer to receive a physical copy of the CCR in the mail, please contact us at 714-738-2835 to request a copy. Physical copies can also be found at the utility billing counter, engineering department window, public works yard front office, or Fullerton library.
