The Fullerton City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chamber to discuss the adoption of a recodification of the Fullerton Municipal Code. This important update aims to improve the Code’s format for better usability while maintaining its existing content.
Recodification of the Fullerton Municipal Code is the formal process of reorganizing, updating, and renumbering the city’s laws to ensure they are current, consistent, and easily accessible. This process includes editing, adding, or repealing ordinances to align with state law and the city’s current policies, typically handled by American Legal Publishing.
Residents and interested individuals are encouraged to participate either in person or remotely. Detailed instructions for remote participation, including how to address the council, will be available in the official agenda.
