Radiant Futures, a vital support center for survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, elder abuse, and other forms of violence, is calling on the community for help as it aims to raise $50,000 by the end of the month.
This initiative coincides with the center’s commitment to provide around-the-clock assistance to those in need. The organization’s 24-hour helpline has become a crucial lifeline for survivors, offering a compassionate space where individuals can share their experiences and explore their options.
In 2023, the helpline has already assisted nearly 3,000 survivors, underscoring the increasing demand for such essential services.
“Our trained advocates are dedicated to listening and guiding survivors through their unique paths to safety and healing,” said a representative from Radiant Futures. “For many, reaching out for help can be daunting. It often takes several conversations before someone feels ready to leave an abusive situation.”
Understanding that some individuals may not have the freedom to speak openly, Radiant Futures offers a discreet texting service at love@radiantfutures.org. This option allows survivors to connect privately with advocates, ensuring that assistance is accessible regardless of their environment. The center relies heavily on community support to sustain its life-changing programs.
As the year draws to a close, Radiant Futures is encouraging individuals to contribute to their fundraising goals, helping to ensure that these critical services remain free of charge for survivors and their families.
“Together, we can work towards a community free from violence, filled with hope and healing,” the representative added.
As the season of giving approaches, Radiant Futures invites the community to consider making an end-of-year gift to support victims of abuse and contribute to a brighter, safer future for all.
