4th Annual Fullerton Pride Fest Celebrates Diversity and Unity

The 4th Annual Fullerton Pride Fest, themed “Be You: Fullerton Pride Fest – Stronger Together,” took place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 2 to 7pm. This vibrant event welcomed attendees from all ages, backgrounds, and identities to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, reinforcing a message of love and acceptance.

A family bike ride and parade kicked off the pre festival that transformed Wilshire Avenue into a lively hub of activity, featuring a variety of performances, food trucks, and a beer garden, alongside local vendors showcasing their goods. A free photo booth added to the festive atmosphere, providing attendees with memorable snapshots of the day.

In the lead-up to the festival, excitement built around the Pride Fest T-shirt competition. Judging was conducted by the festival’s Pride Committee, and the winner received recognition on the Fullerton Museum’s social media platforms, along with a printed shirt of their design and a $250 stipend.

The chosen theme aimed to celebrate individuality while emphasizing unity within the LGBTQ+ community. Organizers encouraged attendees to embrace their true selves and stand together in solidarity. “At Fullerton Pride Fest, we honor our diverse identities and support one another in the fight for equality,” said a festival representative.

The Fullerton Museum Center, a key sponsor of the event, extended an open invitation to everyone in the community to join in the celebration. Although there were some protests during this year’s festival, they quickly dispersed.

The festival not only highlighted local talent and creativity but also provided an inspiring platform for education and celebration, reinforcing the community’s commitment to inclusivity and respect for all individuals. The success of the event illustrated Fullerton’s vibrant and supportive spirit, as attendees came together to affirm their pride and acceptance.
