The City of Fullerton is set to accept proposals for the 2026–2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). With approximately $1.4 million anticipated for eligible housing and community development projects, this funding presents an opportunity for local organizations to contribute to the community’s growth and wellbeing.
To ensure that applicants are well-informed about the eligibility requirements and funding processes, a mandatory CDBG meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 10 to 11 am at the Fullerton Public Library Conference Center, located at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton.
Proposals must be submitted by Thursday, December 18, 2025, by 4:30 pm. Following submission, public meetings will occur between January and March 2026, where proposals will be reviewed, with final funding decisions expected to be announced on May 5, 2026.
Individuals or organizations seeking additional information are encouraged to reach out to Kate Polezhaev, Housing Analyst at the Community and Economic Development Department, at (714) 738-6577 or via email at Kate.Polezhaev@cityoffullerton.com.
