Multiple Bomb Threats Prompt Lockdowns at Fullerton Schools

Update 4:17 PM – the lockdown at Sunny Hills high school has been lifted. For all parents of Sunny Hills High School, students please refer to the districts notification system on pick up procedures.

Update: 3:45 PM -Students at Fern Drive Elementary have been released. Sunny Hills High School remains on lockdown.

UPDATE: The lockdowns at Troy High School and Fullerton Union High School have been lifted. Officers remain on scene, and the investigation into the threats is ongoing.

Update 2:54 PM- An additional call was received with a threat made to Fern Drive Elementary. Officers are on scene with students and staff. For all parents of Fern Drive Elementary students, please refer to the email from the school district regarding evacuation procedures.

Fullerton Police are responding to multiple bomb threats affecting several local schools. Threats were reported via phone at Sunny Hills High School, Fullerton Union High School, and Troy High School, prompting lockdowns at all three campuses as officers conduct investigations.

As of now, the credibility of the threats is undetermined. Police urge the community to avoid the vicinity of the schools to allow for a thorough and safe investigation.

In a related development, a threat was also made against Fern Drive Elementary, and officers are on site with students and staff. Parents are advised to check their email for evacuation instructions from the school district.
