A 27-year-old man has been taken into custody following a tragic homicide that occurred late on January 25, 2026. The Fullerton Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call around 8:52 p.m. reporting a stabbing incident near the intersection of South Euclid Street and West Baker Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim in the roadway, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite the prompt response from the Fullerton Fire Department, which administered medical aid, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities quickly disseminated a suspect description to surrounding law enforcement agencies. Just hours later, officers from the Buena Park Police Department responded to a hit-and-run collision and apprehended an individual fitting the description provided by Fullerton police.
Following an investigation, detectives from the Fullerton Police Department confirmed that the detained suspect, identified as Francisco Soriano Jr., was indeed involved in the homicide. He was arrested and booked into the Fullerton Police Department Jail on murder charges.
The identity of the victim is pending release by the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
