This free event promises an engaging atmosphere, featuring poetry readings and heartfelt toasts honoring Hernandez’s contributions to the literary community.

Gustavo Hernandez, originally from Jalisco, Mexico, grew up in Santa Ana, California, where he still resides. He is the author of the poetry collections *Flower Grand First*, published by Moon Tide Press in 2021, and the upcoming *Bachelor*, set to release with FlowerSong Press in 2025. His recent appointment as Poet Laureate of Orange County in January 2024 underscores his influence and commitment to nurturing the art of poetry in the region.
