TinyFest 2026 Brings Big Inspiration for Small-Space Living to Costa Mesa

Enthusiasts of minimalist lifestyles and innovative housing solutions will gather this spring for TinyFest 2026, a two-day celebration of tiny living and design at the OC Fair & Event Center. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm each day, the event will transform the fairgrounds at 88 Fair Drive into a hub for small-space inspiration, community connection, and sustainable innovation. $22.50 per day, per person, kids under 15 free.

Hosted by TinyFest, the festival brings together builders, designers, van-life experts, and curious visitors for an immersive, hands-on experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour dozens of professionally built tiny homes, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and van conversions, offering a close-up look at the craftsmanship and creativity behind today’s compact housing movement.

In addition to home tours, guests can explore the Simple Living Marketplace, featuring vendors specializing in small-space living products, off-grid solutions, and sustainable goods. The marketplace highlights practical tools and design ideas tailored to those looking to downsize or reduce their environmental footprint. The weekend will also feature speaker presentations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions covering topics such as tiny home design, zoning considerations, nomadic lifestyles, and the financial and environmental benefits of living small. Organizers say the educational programming is designed to support both newcomers exploring the idea of downsizing and seasoned tiny-living advocates seeking fresh insights. With its welcoming, community-focused atmosphere, TinyFest aims to connect like-minded individuals — from DIY builders and architects to families exploring alternative housing options.

The event is ideal for anyone interested in sustainable living, creative housing solutions, downsizing, or experimental lifestyles. More information about tickets and programming can be found at the official TinyFest website. Click here to visit the website: https://www.tinyfest.events/
