Fullerton Heritage hosted an opening reception on March 1 at the Hunt Library for a photography exhibit titled “Snapshot 1887: Charles Henry Shaffner’s Fullerton Portfolio.” The exhibit showcases a collection of rare historical photographs that capture the essence of Fullerton’s past, taken by one of California’s pioneering photographers.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore the stunning visuals that provide a glimpse into the city’s history and evolution. The exhibit highlights Shaffner’s artistry and his significant contribution to documenting life in the late 19th century.
This event celebrates Fullerton’s rich heritage and the importance of preserving its historical narrative through photography.
