70 Years of Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio: Celebrating Our Past, Present, and Future

Nouveau Chamber Ballet, under the direction of Artistic Director Sheree King, proudly presents “70 Years of Lois Ellyn Ballet Studio: Celebrating Our Past, Present, and Future.”

Join us in Orange County for a special evening of dance honoring the legacy of Lois Ellyn on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Curtis Theatre—just minutes from Fullerton. Performances will take place at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with a celebratory gala held between the two shows.

This Fullerton-area ballet performance showcases the rich history and continued artistic excellence of one of Orange County’s longstanding dance institutions. The first half of the program features original choreography by Lois Ellyn, including Autumn Leaves, Come Off It—set in 1920s Trouville, France—and the short story ballet The Tale of the Little Grey Horse.

The second half highlights exciting new works by Nouveau Chamber Ballet choreographers, including Sheree King, Tom Bozigian, Janaina Faustino Watkins, Scott Anderson, and Teresa Dietrich.

Reserved seating is $25–$35 and includes admission to the gala and complimentary light refreshments. Reserve your tickets here: https://nouveauchamberballet.com/upcoming-events/

Experience one of the premier ballet performances in Orange County and celebrate 70 years of artistry, community, and dance.
