Honoring Exceptional Women: Nominations Open for the 7th Annual “Women of the Year” Award Ceremony

In a heartfelt tribute to mothers and maternal figures, the 46th Congressional District is set to celebrate its 7th Annual “Women of the Year” Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This event aims to honor the remarkable contributions of women who play significant roles in the community.

Officials are calling on residents to submit nominations for women who deserve recognition for their impactful work and care within the 46th Congressional District. Eligible nominees must either live, work, or have made a meaningful impact in the area. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, May 1, 2026.

“This ceremony is not just about recognizing achievements; it’s about celebrating the essential roles that women play in our communities, particularly as compassionate figures in our lives,” said Congressmember Lou Correa.
