Pathways of Hope is set to host its annual luncheon, “A Luncheon for Lasting Impact,” on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at The Charleston in Fullerton. The event will highlight the transformative experiences of individuals benefiting from Pathways of Hope’s services and illustrate the significant role of community support in their journeys.

Attendees can expect heartfelt testimonials from those who have received assistance, providing insight into the positive effects of the organization’s initiatives. The luncheon will also include a review of the accomplishments from the past fiscal year and a preview of upcoming projects, including the anticipated Via Esperanza renovation.

A highlight of this year’s event will be the introduction of new awards that pay tribute to the legacy of individuals who have made a lasting impact on Pathways of Hope:

• The Barbara Johnson Legacy Award will celebrate the inaugural inductees, Barbara Jennings and Tom Pankow, recognizing their significant contributions to the organization’s mission.
• The Barbara Jennings Ambassador Award will honor an individual committed to Pathways of Hope through exceptional volunteer work, philanthropy, and community leadership.
• The Tom Pankow Employee of the Year Award is named after the dedicated volunteer who exemplified the spirit of the organization, awarded annually to a staff member reflecting his commitment and heart.

The luncheon’s impact is magnified by the support of the Premiere Sponsor, Wolverine Fire Protection Co., which is helping bring the event to life.
