FSD Leaders Strengthen Shared Commitment Through PAL

Fullerton School District employee association leaders and District administrators met for the first Partnership between Administration and Labor (PAL) meeting of the 2026-27 school year to reconnect on the partnership’s purpose and their shared commitment to students and staff.

The meeting brought together representatives from the California School Employees Association (CSEA), Fullerton Elementary Teachers Association (FETA), Fullerton Elementary Schools Management Association (FESMA) and the District Cabinet, including the superintendent and assistant superintendents.

Centered on the commitment that “we will not let each other fail,” PAL gives employee leaders and administrators an opportunity to build relationships, share perspectives and work together on solutions that benefit the entire District.

Participants brainstormed ways to strengthen proactive communication with staff and explored shared values such as respect, empathy, open dialogue and student-centered decision-making. They also began discussing a mission statement that would capture their common purpose and guide future collaboration.

Through PAL, Fullerton School District and its employee leaders continue to build a culture of connection and shared responsibility, supporting staff in their work and helping every student succeed.
