Fullerton Remembers: The Music, The Movies & The Stories We Carry

Step back into the golden glow of the Fox Theatre Fullerton and celebrate the sound that shaped Fullerton music history — from the jazz era to the innovation of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.

The afternoon begins at 1:00 pm with a Fullerton favorite of Dixieland Jazz with the Dixiedelics in a nostalgic movie-theater lobby setting — complete with popcorn, Fox memorabilia, photo station, and light refreshments.

At 1:45 pm, join us in the chapel for a moving concert experience featuring the California State University, Fullerton Jazz Group, the Titan Six with Paul Kreibich, vocalist Tia Reeves, jazz and gospel pianist Isha Love of Temple Beth Tikvah, jazz vocalist Miranda Mower and award-winning tribute artist Martin Anthony.

Through beloved jazz standards and film-inspired classics, we’ll honor the memories, milestones, and music that became part of a soundtrack of Fullerton’s music history.

ADMISSION IS FREE, but RSVPS are highly recommended due to limited seating. Send an email to jillannlloyd@yahoo.com with your name and the number of guests.
