Project La Femme will host their second annual celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th at STAGESTheatre in Fullerton in a presentation called “Women Get Loud.” Mature themes–18 and older recommended.
This show amplifies voices of the community through dance, spoken word, drama, music and poetry celebrating all women asking “What are you no longer going to be quiet about?”
Doors will open at 7:30 and seats are on a first come, first served basis. The show will also feature selected artists in the lobby for a pop-up art show. There is no cost to the show but donations are accepted if it is in your heart to give.
Last year’s show was a success, and raised over $500 that was donated to the She Should Run non-partisan non-profit organization to help women candidates run for political office. The show returns this year, with the talents of Andrea Freeman, Heather Enriquez, The Silverwood Sirens, Emily Scupp, Terri Mowery and more! Jeanetta Rich performs her original poem “This is Dedicated…” with a helper at last year’s “Women Get Loud.”

Burkhalter’s one woman show “My Life in Two Acts”. For more information on Project LaFemme, please visit their website at http://www.projectlafemme.com.
