Orangethorpe Elementary was locked down while emergency crews fought to put out the blaze that was first reported around 1:20 p.m. The fire occurred near the intersection of Orangethorpe Ave and Brookhurst Road. Firefighters will investigate the cause of the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
