Rest in Peace James William Kaminski

James (Jim) Kaminski, husband, father, uncle, and brother, passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 67. He departed peacefully at St. Jude Hospital with his wife by his side.

Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in Whittier, CA. He met his wife in 1993, and they married in September 1996. They lived in Fullerton during their entire marriage. Their daughter Rachel was born in 1999, and Allison was born in 2004.

He was an electrical technician with Wayne Perry Environmental for many years. Jim enjoyed all things in the water. He grew up fishing with his Dad and carried on that hobby with his girls each time they visited Catalina. He also enjoyed scuba diving and fishing on his boat. Jim’s friendly nature was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him.

He was a good friend to all, always ready with a smile and a kind word. His presence was often marked by the sight of his red Corvette, a symbol of his vibrant personality. Though he is out of our sight, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace. Jim is survived by his wife Sylvia, daughters Rachel and Allison, and his siblings Susan (Mark), Andy, Barbara, Nancy (Scott), and Kathy, as well as his nieces and nephews.
