A new nonprofit dedicated to providing faith-informed professional counseling officially opened its doors in Fullerton on June 24, 2026. The Restore Therapy Center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the North County Chamber of Commerce, marking the beginning of its mission to support individuals, couples, and families in navigating life’s challenges.
Located at 2290 N. State College Boulevard, the center was co-founded by Dr. Erin Ramachandran, PsyD, and Alina Ilioi, LMFT. The practice aims to deliver a holistic approach to mental health, combining professional counseling with Christian principles.
“At Restore Therapy Center, our mission is to restore hope, health, and healing through professional Christian counseling, serving as a bridge between God and the local church,” the mission statement says on the website. The center focuses on three core areas: assisting marriages facing significant mental health and addiction issues, addressing grief, trauma, and loss, and providing support for relationships impacted by infidelity and betrayal.
Dr. Ramachandran, an award-winning author and speaker, brings expertise in mental health and addiction challenges to the center. She is particularly noted for her research on scrupulosity, also known as religious OCD, and has authored two books: “Mental Health Strong” (2019) and “Mental Health Strong Marriage” (2024). In addition to her work with Restore Therapy Center, she co-founded Mental Health Strong, a nonprofit dedicated to research and education for underserved populations.
